2004 volvo s60 headlight wiper stuck

Post by StickyPocket »

Hi all,

One of my headlight wipers is stuck on the other side of where it rests. I can't turn it back over to where it should be when inactive. I actually noticed it was stuck and while testing the other one started acting up too. I checked the fuse and it looked like the middle part was intact but there looked to be a burn mark on the side.

I went ahead and replaced it (didn't know this was possible - shouldn't the middle part break before this happens? Maybe it was still good, idk.) Anyway, after replacing it, the other one works fine again but the original one is still stuck. Does it need a motor? Could one motor going out have done that to the fuse? Thanks.

Is it a separate fuse for headlight wipers? I was under the impression it was the same fuse for regular wipers.
