I have a 2007 C70 hard top convertible. I had recently a problem, the ceiling upholstery so when I was trying to open the convertible top it got hook in between. Basically I had to open and closed it manually. I follow the instructions from some guy, very nice video on youtube. Everything was looking ok and nice close but when I stared the engine and drive a bit, just in reverse from the driveway, and very loud alarm sounded and a red warning sign plus it showed "STOP SAFELY ROOF CAN BE DAMAGED"
When I was opening and close I have to pull the cable under the back seat to decompress the hydraulic system. At the end I push the brass top on the hydraulic pump in the trunk near the ski opening to get the pump to create pressure again.
I used vida to diagnostic the problem and at some point showed CRM-C052 Hydraulic Pump Supply Voltage Too Low, and
"Related CSC
Text window and warning symbol, Text message, IV
Sun/moon/convertible roof, Hard/impossible to open/close, SC"
So I wonder if there is something more I need to do the re pressure the hydraulic pump? reset?
Anybody with any help please.
Thank you everyone
