It also said they changed to not include the clips to hold the wires together, making me wonder if they've gotten cheaper. edit: eEuroparts has Bougicord for $60.

Are there any other brands which are currently available? Perhaps Denso at eEuroparts.
Got a set of Bougicord from eeuro a while back and they didn't come with those clips - which of course disintegrated when I touched them from being cooked under the valley cover.
Plug wires don't get as beat up in normal driving as they do on cars that see track time, or get flogged hard on a regular basis. Since they are pretty easy to get to, my suggestion would be to wait for FCP to get them in as opposed to spending on lesser quality.

Yup... my cousin just picked up a Bosch reman alternator for his '98, and the bearing was noisy right out of the box. That's disappointing for something with the Bosch name on it.

That plastic cover is largely cosmetic especially on a P80 - run them without it!

Thanks for the input. The $60 Bougicord wires at eEuroparts are a nice savings compared to $80 at FCP but without the lifetime warranty insurance. The value of the warranty is always a factor.

It is for you guys who live near them but not for me! Realistically I have seen these leads on cars for 20+ years, so I'm not sure how many of these cars will still be around and we have gas to fill them with! Hopefully both will still be options then though!
