Wooded, do you have a schematic or diagram...parts list, etc. for this? Like I said, I'm very interested in doing this to my 240.

My soon-to-be father in-law brought something up the other day. What happens in the winter time and the water freezes? I haven't seen it addressed on any sites or articles I've read.

I've brought this up to people that have them and I saw it addressed on hho websites. One( in Minnesota) says the water will thaw out really fast due to the immediate heat from the plates and several that I read say to add alcohol to the cell.

Guys,
I purchased some plans for a system but don't have the time for them. If anyone wants a copy, please write me at: [email protected] and i'll send the 36 page manual. I don't know how to attach it to this.
I'm purchasing my system from: http://hhotek.com/index.html

I've reviewed everything...going to try this very soon...actually, I will probably go with the "tank" kit rather than the "jar" kit as there is more room for the gas... Anyway, wondering if anyone has installed one of these with good luck??

Hi everyone
Any results to share from the time of the last posting?
I bought a 99 S80 2.4 petrol with 128000 miles on the clock, just passed all tests including emission. Drives well, and the engine is much quieter than my 2yr old Peugeot 1.6 diesel.
The only problem - she is a guzzler at average 20 mpg. I must admit, I have no history of this car service and may need to have them all done within a year. But I thought I'd try to 'boost' the engine with HHO.
Now, I installed 2 cells (in series) electrolyzer and tried the engine with a little HHO gas (it is difficult to measure the volume of HHO flowing, only bubble count per second
. So far I've done 5-6 urban miles with HHO and I did not notice significant change in torque, but the engine went almost silent, and while stationary and idling for about 20 minutes, the exhaust produced a small puddle of water
on the ground underneath.
Also, the coolant temperature on the gauge is somewhat lower.
I will be able to obtain exact COx and NOx reading for before/after comparison when I complete fiddling with O2 sensor output. I used the following document for the cell and fuel injection enhancer: http://www.free-energy-info.co.uk/D17.pdf
I am stuck with O2 sensor because I have a different picture than the one described theoretically in the document:
- My (pre-catalytic) sensor produces around 0.3V on signal wire against the signal ground wire, slight change of 0.1V between the idle and revving conditions. Normally, the document says, it should oscillate between 0.2 and 0.8V
- the signal ground wire is nowhere near the earth/engine block/ground.
- if measured against the chassis, the signal reads 3.5V
I suspect the sensor needs to be replaced, or should there be a good earth connection on signal ground wire (which could be the ECM problem?)
If anybody can point me in the right direction or correct me, please.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Cheers

Wow! I don't know anything about electronics to help you but I'm glad you're doing this. Please post back. I am very interested in success stories using HHO in Volvos!
