I've had a windshield crack at -35 with the defrost turned on, probably more related to a faulty install though.

A new thought on this failure. Was anyone nearby mowing or weed eating? A small sharp rock may have been thrown and hit the window. I am told a sharp bit of ceramic (like a spark plug insulator) will do this if thrown hard.

guilty, yes I was running the tractor mower up the driveway because there was weeds, one blade sits lower, the deck needs adjusting,
I have the deck leveling wheels on hand to install too.... darn.
Well its better to know I did it and not some kid with a BB.
I made a 1 minute video.

I saying that COULD have happening, but it is not a sure thing. It would sure be a fluke.

I doubt it. Sharks come in tornados, but whales seldom sound up driveways

I was running with the blade guard held open by a bungee. Perfect for flinging stones.

Changed the rear shocks (4C), bump stops and mounting plates on the S60R recently. Also rear end links. Ride is greatly improved, presumably due to the shock repair. Mounting plates looked great could have left them but hard to risk that given the effort to remove those shock towers.

Now on to dealing with a front end shudder at high speeds. Hopefully just a wheel balance issue, worst case (and less likely) scenario an axle.
