If you were not the one to have had the ABS module repaired at Xemodex, then the lifetime warranty is when you find it was only for the owner that had it repaired. It expired when you bought the car. I had the same issue with them with my cars ABS module that was repaired a couple of years prior to me buying the car. They told me to send it back for another repair at my cost! I sent it to Matty Moo at Mid-West ABS instead (00 V70R)

I sent the CEM out because I was having hot restart issues. A lot of people say CEM was responsible for my troubles and I never did my due diligence to attach and run VIDA on the car. So my hot restart issue ended up being a short on the hot wire to the pump.
Meanwhile sending out my CEM and having a transfer unit opened a whole can of worms with my central locking/fobs 5-10 minutes after shutdown, but the bright-side is I'm not having any issues with hot restarts anymore!
I'm still working with Joshua at XemodeX but my next move will be attach VIDA and see what's going on. If I see 1D08= CEM INTERNAL FAULT then I will ask for another CEM.
This code has been haunting since the beginning and now I think that's where I'll focus.
Initially I was thinking UEM but when I think about it, clearly UEM works when the CEM is powered up.
So whatever is causing CEM to shutdown is the issue.
I'd love to know more about electronics but it has always been a weakness for me.
Cheers
