43c sounds like my neck of the woods. When the ambient temp is this high, it's hard to keep the engine cool, and pre-ignition become a problem. I'm running water / meth injection, and using some " water wetter " as well, but can still have an issue at WOT.

My 850 is back on the road. The issue was the coolant sensor wire. Thanks to all of you for your help. Sincerily.
