Ran upstate to continue gathering parts and bring the T5 back for that valve job

Turned down an offer of a trade for a 911, can’t carry anything in that except feelings of inadequacy.

Nice color for a Volvo :-)
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
1998 v70, non turbo, FWD, base model, on the road from April 2nd, 2015 to July 26, 2023.

I'd have a hard time with saying no to that trade. I think the early 911's are really cool (but I really wouldn't want to hang out with Porsche people...)

Can you dolly tow a 3500# Volvo with a 1999 NA on a fresh engine?

Yes

Should you?

No.

Very tough on the slight western New England hills. Went up some at 45 mph with coolant going to 230F

About 15 mpg on flat

Sitting waiting for the 6pm ferry which gets me out of 3 hours of NYC hell

If that V70 has an automatic tranny, check the fluid right away. Replace immediately if dark and burned. I would not be surprised if it overheated.

Trans shifted very well. Torque converter was locking up except on worst hills. Not too worried about it but will check in am
