2007 XC70: How do I know without a Dice unit if these are real issues or just a need for a system reset?

Post by AylmerQc »

How do I know if my 2007 XC70 need a reset of some sorts with a DICE or are these actual issues?

I bought the car a year ago and I've had on stands, or just parked during that time, having replaced the front brakes, brake fluid flush, both flex brake lines and a new battery.
I also took out the two front seat to work on the seat adjustement controls, which meant disconnecting the wire connectors.

The only light that was lit in the dash when I bought the car was the ABS, which, according to the previous owner, was caused by a broken ABS sensor ring. I changed the ring on the front passenger side and one sensor.
Now I have warnings on the LED display on the left hand side of the dash for:

SRS Airbag-Urgent
Brake Failure-Stop Safely
Tyre Pressure System-Service required
Engine System-Service required.

On the right hand side symbol display the following icons are lit up:
Brake
Airbag
Check engine
ABS
Tire pressure
I've driven it around a bit and everything seems fine, brakes work good.
I'm leery of taking it on on the road into town or for a trip though...
