Rotor Size Please?

Post by Grantkat »

Hi everyone, I am new to Volvo and New to the forum. I just purchased a 1999 S70 GLT. The tires are 195/60/R15 and I need new front pads and rotors. If necessary I will pull a wheel and measure but just wondering if there is an easy way to determine it?

Should be the standard 280mm rotor. Pads are all the same as is the caliper. Only difference at the front is the rotor 280 or 302mm, and the mounting bracket for the caliper.

The 302mm rotor will not fit behind 15" wheels. Oops! yes 15" not 25" I had! Thanks for the catch Abscate!

25 inch Canadian is 15 inch US wheels, translating…your 15 inch wheel car will have 280 mm rotors

Why do we mix units?

The Volvo ones from FCP, shameless plug, come with the new rotor bracket bolts Volvo says to replace.

Your next set from FCP will cost new price less full credit for what you paid, if you drive the normal 12k per year, that pays off in 3-4 years
