Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I built and raced Volvos over 50 years ago. I am now retired and would like to find a reasonably priced restorable 445 Duette. Anyone know of one languishing somewhere that I might be able to purchase? I'm in San Diego, CA.
Thanks!
Paul

A suggestion would be to lurk Craigslist North, there was always lots of interest in those in WA and OR.
As a for instance - keep in mind I'm fearless, but would have some thoughts about this mess: https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/ ... 21700.html
One good thing about body on frame is obviously being able to separate them and attack places that are much harder to reach with unibody.
Notice the seat mounts straddle the floor pans, and attach to the inner rockers and the tunnel.
Dunno if you ever dealt with these folks-

Mine isn't anywhere near as perforated as that, but does need front floors. On the list, just not the top.
Mine is missing the gas filler door too. Must be a thing on these.
Welcome to the Asylum.

Not for the moment; aside from being on the other side of the continent, it is getting closer to the top of my project list.
They do show up on C/L more often than one would imagine, and not long ago there was a driver quality example on Hemmings.
Try some of the old tin specialists, like Joe at www.susquehannaspares.com/
