got my car inspected this morning, now I have 12 more months to fix the exhaust.

in the uk it would have gone to the crusher before now.

Replaced engine oil & filter, replaced ATF & Magelife in-line filter, and installed new LED Bi-Xenon bulbs.

Removing the front bumper keeps on getting easier by the year. Now it takes less than 5 minutes.

Took the Spacesaver out yesterday to check and discovered it has never been fitted or used. Tyre date is 08/05 and the V70 was registered in 09/05 therefore original to this car.

Postman arrived today with a set of roof cross bars for non rail V70s which I managed to find after a long ardous search. I was offered plenty S60 bars but according to Volvo they don't fit the V70. Caveat Emptor if you are searching...

Took a trip 'doon the watter' to the Isle of Bute. I kept the roof bars on to assess how much noise they generated and it starts at 35mph so they are now off and will only be on the car when required.
