Serious FUEL LEAK (only with engine running); location behind a thin vented metal cover plate with 2 holding nuts on it; on the RHS vertical firewall on a LHD car. Helllllpppppp…..Any idea what’s behind there before I remove the cover??? The fuel runs out the bottom of that cover and seeps through the factory holes in the unibody’s large front to rear frame!

I do not know this car.

But I would start by working outside. Get it out of your garage. Pull that plate to see what the fuel fitting looks like and what happened. (It's under pressure when running, maybe has none now after leaking, but it could spray as you disconnect).

You may be able to run a garden hose to dilute or rinse out the frame rail.
Then examine that fitting to see if it came loose, split a hose, was assembled incorrectly by a mechanic....

Are these any help?

The top diagram of the fuel system implies these are high pressure metal pipes with brakeline-type fittings.
