can't find socket to replace coolant temp sensor

I've looked onlne. The socket we need is 19 mm/34" split socket. There is one shown but when I clicked it only the standard fully closed socket comes up.

Any suggestions?

I just used a grinder to cut a slot into a cheap sacrificial socket. Worked with no issues.

You can get a 19 mm in flare or. Even use a good tolerance open end to crack that sucker

You can buy a set of deep sockets from harbor freight. Cut a slot in the one you need. Then take the whole set and exchange it for a new one. No questions asked. No receipt. I've literally done it with pointing and eyebrow raises.

Pete, I stuck my 19 mm flare in my travel bag then realized PeteB in MN is a long way from Pete in CT

They should never have placed a lifetime warranty on all hand tools. I personally am very pleased with the "Quinn" brand of sockets. They don't feel cheap like the "Pittsburg" line up and it's like $20 for a set of 1/2 inch deep sockets.
