Cali,
You are probably best off looking at an uprated battery, like an Optima Yellow top and a decent capacitor.
My C70, has a Yellow top and a 1 farad cap to drive the RF 1000BD amp @ 2ohms and I only get a slight flicker of the dash light if I am stationary. Before this, I had a definite problem and could see the headlights dim to the beat while driving.

run heavier gauge wire from alt to batt pos. terminal. also run another heavy gauge wire from your neg. terminal to your body. if this does not totally correct the problem then you will need a cap. what it the total power consumption of your system? what are the fuse ratings on your amp? a 1 farad cap is good for storing enough reserve for a system using 800 watts but the cap won't do a lot if the wiring is not heavy enough to carry the load.
