Member Blacklab467 has very unselfishly found me a factory OE trailer hitch, pulled it, and shipped it down to me. They’re NLA from Volvo. Factory harness included!

Pretty clever attachment. Has a bit of Canadian maple syrup staining - nothing a bit of sandblasting and powder coating can’t fix.

Haha! Glad you received it satisfactorily, and found some IKEA like instructions to install it.

i realised today, after other car drama this year, my P2 has given me 20,000 miles of service during the past two years on oil changes and a $30 reverse light switch - and 32-34 mpg highway mileage

Had my front and side motor mount changed. Also had the passenger wheel bearing and the AC condenser changed. All noises and shakes are now alleviated.

Money well spent.

Installed a new blue box Volvo air filter and cabin filter and cleaned the MAF sensor. Not sure why but I always have to fight with the airbox lid to get it off and then back on again. Tomorrow I'll install my new intercooler pipe rubber hoses and contemplate putting the winter tires on.......I hate to admit it but its getting near time for them.

I’ve noticed the Volvo filters fit better than the Mann ones, but both are good to go

On one of my 07s I had to heat gun the air box lid to make it fit, there was a gap when I got the car. Hopefully next time around it will have reshaped some.

Defeat...

Checked AC pressures today and saw 40 kpa. Have never seen it that low and charged it with a bit of a can i had left, it went up to 704.1kpa and AC was cold on passenger warm on driver. I took my boroscope and checked the joints. Nice green stuff coming down the drivers side joint. My mechanic is good about this stuff so if its low tomorrow then ill give him a call and have to book another day to get it fixed.

Fun fun fun...

On the bright side the car is as quiet as a church mouse on the highway so the bearing change was a much needed occurence.
