DIY: Replace center console trim

I would like to replace the center console with the part displayed below.



The trim marked in red in the image below is what needs to be replaced. From this picture of the console:

• The area marked in red is what needs to be replaced

• I assume I have to remove everything marked in green to be able to remove and replace the trim

• I discovered a Torx screw under the cup holder in the area marked orange, so I believe I can remove the cup holder this way

My question is; how do I remove the leather trim on the left marked in green?

I spoke with the dealer about this when some of my chrome started peeling off the trim piece, they told me labor for that job was going to be $1500, so I assume a lot more than what you are showing there needs to come off, likely starting with the upper dash and working your way back.
