Stumbled onto this thread while working a different problem

There is a water pipe change from 1998 to 1999 and the lower radiator hose is different in length and angle.

I think I recall one runs around the back of the block and is a swine to get the clamp on and the other ends on the distributor end of the block.

Yup, I believe the earlier cars had that. And NA cars had that style a little longer.
