When I bought her initially she started up fine but she no longer starts - from a preliminary look from a mechanic he thought there might be something wrong with the carb, but I'm not sure that's the sole issue. She has a 1.8-liter B18 inline-four with a four-speed manual transmission. The body is in good shape, no major dents or damage. Some spots of minor rust and bubbling are present, as well as the clear sealing coat on the trunk needing a refresh. There were some electrical issues I was working on - reverse lights not reliable, some speakers not always reliable - which is why one of the rear lights has the cover removed in pictures (I have the cover). The wiper fluid system was not working, and when it arrived I realized it looked like there was a key of some kind broken off in the trunk lock. The passenger door is a little off center, so it closes and latches but does not lock.
The good is that she's a sweet little car with a lot of potential! The last time I started her up the heater was in full form and the engine sounded consistent. All the glass is intact and the interior is in good shape, with updated seatbelts and aftermarket cassette radio. All four tires and the trunk spare were new when I purchased the car a few years ago, as well as the rear axle bearings, rear wheel brake cylinders, front pads, rear shoes, and brake fluid. She shows 2400 miles on the odometer but the true milage is unknown.
New York does not issue titles for cars manufactured before 1972, so ownership would be transferred through transferrable registration, but I have a copy of the previous title as well as extensive documentation from the previous seller. Reach out with any questions!
