V70 2.4T High Idle after head gasket job

It is only about 8-10cm long. It comes off the top of the turbo and connects it to the long metal pipe that runs over the top of the engine to the intercooler. I guess it is more of a collar.

In this Ebay picture, it is the short pipe coming off the top of the turbocharger.

Idle is now ok since I changed injectors o-rings.
Always this smell on acceleration, just received my heat shield, i'll put it on the car and see if it change something.
If not, maybe ill need to give a look at the cat..

Check for an exhaust leak. Sometimes if you're burning a bit of oil, it smells rather raunchy if it isn't going out the tailpipe away from you.

Good thinking wizechatmgr. Look for manifold leaks and particularly the flex pipe join.

Hello ! I put the heat shield on the car today. 100 miles after, no more smell ! Will not underestimate the power of those pieces anymore !
