DICE firmware issue

Greetings All,
I have a DICE unit that stared flashing the firmware LED red. The unit worked last time just fine and now wants attention. Can the DICE firmware be updated or is it time for a new unit?

Sooo, I searched around and found a few who had issues due to dirty connections. As I cleaned the connections with contact cleaner, I told myself that my connections are clean and this is just a formality. And it worked. The older I get the more I start at the very beginning in problem solving of all kinds; it saves me much time. The cleaned connections worked and I got the data!
