Winter wax?

2006 xc70 Is there a wax, etc. that I can use to prepare for the upcoming NY winter? Assume I have washed and clayed the finish.

If you have done a good job of cleaning and clay bar, I would definitely take a little more time and ceramic coat as we did with our 08 C30. At your first wash use Technicians Choice and thereafter. Lightly dry the car and apply just a small mist from a spray bottle and wipe. Absolutely no elbow grease required! We use it on everything on the exterior and interior except upholstery. Almost done with 1 gallon. This was recommended by a member of MVS.

The ice came off the glass in sheets also. Just lightly tap. Son said all the other students were scraping.

Brother's 19 Tiguan (Sold) which never recieved care. Washed and Technician Choice only.

Does that provide any UV / sun protection?
