This. If a cheap stand alone ODB reader works,
then it’s most likely not a car side problem.

It's worth reading through my climate nightmare thread here:

There's a ton of good info and diagnostic aid in that thread when I went through everything in my car to fix my own driver blend door woes.
I just read thru that thread - ouch! time for a couple tylenols LOL. I am not sure how motiviated I am to do this... One thing I have noticed a few times on my car is the flashing lights on the AC buttons. In the past I would just turn off the system, then turn back on and it seemed to start working again. Anyways, thx for sharing the thread...maybe I will get motivated over the winter to work on this...

yeah man!

I'm gonna test the odb 2 port today, some guys at work have code readers. I may message ya V50M66...for some guidance. Looks like u lived thru this mess

neil up in Canada has been helping , and I unplugged the connections under the handbrake and sprayed them in with contact cleaner , and let them dry for a day or so, then plugged them back in

I'm going to see if I can get a code reader to work, later today, and will report back!

interesting thing these HVAC systems in this car! hahaha load of fun
