No big miles for us, the familial tally:
Me in the 08 S60: about 10 miles of grocery and errands
Kid 1 in 02 S60: about 15 miles round trip to our house
Kid 2 in 05 XC90: about 50 miles one-way home from University

Nice to have three 5 cylinder turbos in the drive/garage, and I didn’t have to work on one of them!

1800 miles round trip, back and forth from college for break

Yep, followed a storm from the Midwest all the way to the east coast on the way out. There was probably a 5 minute rain-free section of that 13 hour drive.

ZERO miles (0km) were driven on 2024 Thanksgiving. We did not leave the house at all.
We did have Cornish game hens, green beans, rolls, spinach salad with kiwi and mushrooms, and pecan pie.
We also listened to the ever amusing Arlo Guthrie song "Alice's Restaurant".
And we watched another episode of Justified on DVD.

I am 425 miles in, will be over 800 by the time we get back. Driving the willow green XC70.

Hooked the R (it lives here in Chicago with my daughter) up to VIDA, looks like the Haldex pump is giving intermittent failure codes, sigh ... they will soon get rid of it in favor of a new car, anyway. At least the headaches will be easier to fix with the car back at our place.
