Hopefully your wife continues to see improvements of the coming days and weeks. You have both been through a really tough ordeal, and one that no one should have to go through, especially at a younger age (than me!).

Unfortunately I am too far away to be of much help except for encouragement and hopefully advice if needed.

I wish you both all the best.

Neil.

Thanks very much Neil. Yeah this year I just need to get thru. I wanted to share everything sooner with everyone but I just had to focus on my wife's health. I know everyone in this Volvo community has passion for everyone outside of Volvos. I just wanted to make sure her health was good enough before I can start opening up about what has happened recently.

This Pic is from her transplant 6 years ago. Hopefully everyone reads her shirt, my sister and I got her. (And it was 7 days after transplant I was taking her home.

Really really glad to hear that things are finally working out for the two of you. That was a hell of a ride !
I too wish that I was a bit closer to your area to help out, but there are a few members here that are in your neck of the woods, so hopefully you'll hear from them.
Best wishes to the both of you !!

Best wishes going forward. If Robert gets down your way on his circuit that might be a path to getting caught up and having that useful ride.

Robert might be a good option to get your car up and running again. Doesn't cost anything to ask if he is likely to be down your way.

Hello JD, wishing you and your lovely wife the absolute best. And the whole extended family. Hope you’re able to get the wagon usable for chauffeuring necessary mobility equipment, in the best case, she won’t need it for long. Focus on enjoying this holiday season and just breathing. Peter

:Thank everyone for all your wishes and support. I am going to reach out to Robert and see what his schedule is looking like.
I have to admit I used turo to rent handicap vans to get her around a few time now. But $150 a day starts to add up a few times a week now. Those are car parts I could be buying.

Robert is headed for the West Coast next, I don't think he has plans for a swing south anytime soon.

Looks like you both have made it through the danger zone, best wishes going forward.
