Most common cause of vibration after the top torque mount is the front engine mount, the non-hydraulic one under the crank pulley. Access from the wheel well.

I'll try to get my hands on some working space ASAP. Thanks guys! I was trying to find something suspicious in VIDA but I couldn't to. Pic attached, readings of hot engine.

change all the coils with new bosch ones, same as volvo but not in the blue box. check the VVT solenoid, these are both common failures.

Google "volvo vvt solenoid symptoms"

My top engine mount is very loose, i can hear the rubber clunk when coasting however at idle i can put a glass of water on the engine and get just a ripple.

Blacklab467 wrote: 15 Feb 2021, 13:25 Subframe bushings made a huge difference on the engine vibrations that came through the steering wheel. I did the engine mounts ( all 5 ) at the same time. My front hydraulic mount was separated almost completely so that may have been the cause. My XC 70 had 280,000 kms when I did it so all those parts were well past their useful life.

I havw the same problem until saw the normal idle is at 650+/- rpms.

I have exactly same problem with my 2006 V70 engine vibrations much more strong that my other Volvo 2006 s60 that engine runs smooth--same engine on both cars--changed spark plugs and all engine mounts but did not help -synthetic 5x30 oils on both cars-Obviously the engine runs rougher for an reason I dont understand--did you found a solution for your car?
