It sounds like this
]
Or you replace the existing RH trans seal where collar inserts with the seal for FWD car and a RH front axle. The OD of the trans where seal fits is the same AWD or FWD. The ID is either for angle gear sleeve or on FWD it is a smaller ID for axle
Is not correct , if I read you right?

Not to add to confusion here, but a project AWD car came to me with a notation "needs transmission"; the car would back up (!) but not go forward. Jacking up one side and putting it in gear - yes, I have no fear - showed the driveshaft to the rear diff spinning, but the viscous coupling, not so much. I grabbed the drivers' side wheel which was spinning unloaded (!?!), it made the teeth chatter like mentioned here; I pulled the wheel and the axle fell out of the transmission. Reseated the axle with Extreme Prejudice, put the wheel back on, topped off the ATF and the car moves both directions under its own power now. Viscous coupler still blown up though. Driveshaft is in the corner of the garage.
