Hi and Welcome to MVS!

I'm guessing this is the part you are looking for.

https://www.volvocarstorontoparts.ca/p/ ... 30515.html

If so, it is shown as discontinued new, although a few places, particularly in Europe, seem to claim to have them for sale new.

As you correctly identified, the next part is to find a good used one. This part was also used on some rear wheel drive Volvos like the 960/V90/S90. If you click on the 'What this fits' on the linked page it will list other options for used ones. Basically it fits rear wheel drive Volvos from around 1988-98 and the 850.

Not sure if a V/S/C70 one might be able to be modified to fit.

Good Luck!

Neil.

If you're not looking to light cigarettes with it, just buy a replacement power socket.

I've got something like THIS in both of our cars.

We just use little USB adapter inserts for charge ports.
'97 854 T5 - Manual Swap/M4.4/COP/NA cams/P2R Brakes/16T/ chassis bracing/ XC70 nose swap
'97 855 GLT - Hers. RN swap/16T/COP/VVT/exhaust/302s/Flashed M4.4/ chassis bracing/ 2 kid seats
'78 GLE - Waiting in the wings. Future whiteblock/T5 swap.

The Others- '83 TBird turbo, '85 Mercury Marquis LTS (1 of 134), '86 LTD Wagon, '81 Granada GL, '76 Beetle, '93 F-150 I6
