difference between the 740 and 940?

If the choice was between a dohc 16v 2.3 or turbo 2.3, which would you choose? I found out the trunk opening for the 940 is slightly better.

Ill be honest. I had my eyes set on a JDM market 1997 940 classic estate with 86,xxx miles and all bells and whistles. I was going to take out a loan. Then my head came back down to earth...

Sounds like you made the right choice. I wouldn't take out a loan on an old car.

Despite not wanting another whiteblock I did for a little bit consider a 98 s70 base model (base no options at all) with 30K miles for $11K. That was tempting but I dont want to mess with it.
