Some folks call them Hi-Line, may have been a brand name for conversions. Most were fabbed in-house; if you can keep a railroad engine going ...

Very cool! I have seen a lot of truck Hi rails, but never a car conversion.

Those are fantastic. I like the green Pontiac.

I saw a pic from the 60s with a Chrysler Imperial for RR execs to glide smoothly down the tracks.
