2011 S60 Serpentine Belt/Timing Belt, engine recall/ flaw on SERP belt protector

We have owned Volvos for years. Purchased a 2012 s60 with 70k. Month after we purchased surpintine belt failed and destroyed the engine. Carfax showed services at volvo dealer at 50k. This is supposedly a know failure unfortunately we were not aware of. The service was in 2021 to be sure volvo dealers should of been on the lookout and replaced the tensioner and belt on these suspect engines. This will be our last one. Loved the p2 cars. Unfortunately volvos are not what they used to be.
