Hard to start 1986 760 Turbo wagon

I have a86 760 wagon turbo and automatic. This car doesnt get used often. It may sit for months at times without using. It normally starts right up, but once I shut it off or it stalls, it wont turn on again. It seems to get flooded(fuel).
The way I get it to turn on is by removing the fuel pump fuse and cranking the engine, after it starts I insert the fuse and play a little with the throttle until the idle smooths out.
What can be causing this flooding/problem.

Just in cas I checked all electrical connections....no difference.
