Finally got tires for the Thors I picked up.

I know there's a few here running these wheels, what did you do for the center caps? My old ones won't swap over on the front.

Centre caps should be a straight swap over. I've swapped mine from my Columba wheels on my 850 to my Thor wheels on my V70 numerous times

What I had thought would be a 5 minute fix turned into 2 and 1/2 hours, and a case of the right side not unlatching instead which almsot made me give up at around the 2 hour mark.

Not sure if this is normal but the whole thing just doesn't work unless the bottom bolt is a little loose.

Anyways as promised here's a pic of my subframe's "folded ear"

Having just watched MoVolvos video post in the " Ticking noise " thread, I think the folded ear might be due to someone removing the oil pan.

.
Do you mean it's loose, too tight etc... If you have difficulty buying them just wrap them all in some color or pattern that you like. Some of the caps I have are loose while other tight so have to use the butt of a wooden hammer to push them out.

Is there any workaround for discontinued part 9157320 and $100 part 9157321 for the AWD p80 rear suspensions? They're the bushings and support plates for the top of the nivomat shocks, and I fear that they may be going bad on my XC. I recently laid down the $600+ for new nivomats as I couldn't find a definitive way to side-grade to regular rear shocks and springs and keep the XC ride height.

The issue I have in front is that the threads for the axle protrude past where the center cap would go by a good 8-10mm. It seems there have been similar issues reported on the forum and the cause was stated to be because there's two different axle mounting types, one using a bolt and one using a nut. I'm on the nut type which leaves me with a lot of thread protruding from the Thors. I'm contemplating just cutting the thread but might go for raised caps instead.

The bolt axle is used on the 1999 - models i North America, I don’t think you can interchange these as the wheel hubs are different , too.
Check?
