Thanks, that's what I thought. I took out the bolt that holds it to the intake and tried to pull it out. But it's like it is hitting a hard edge. I can wiggle it around and pull it up slightly, but that's it. Maybe there is too much corrosion around the bottom? I just don't want to break stuff.

Yes. Happens way too often, especially if it has never been removed before. I would blow a compressed air around the entry port (where the tube gets to the sump) to clean any loose debris, then spray with PB Blaster and let it soak for a few minutes, then pull it up with force.

Its the o ring at the bottom, probably turned to hard plastic. These are always hard to get out. Pull hard while wiggling and twisting the top of the dipstick tube, it will release. Then go to the autocrats store and get a green viton one if you haven't ordered one yet.

It took quite a while to get the bumper painted, but the body shop finally got me in last week. They agreed that I can deliver the bumper disassembled, which saved a bit of money. It still cost $565, but they did a really nice job. The paint matches the car almost perfectly, only the hood is a little off. The hood is quite faded, which I noticed right away, but returning it was not really an option. I am happy with the overall results though.
This concludes the repair of the accident. It was not cheap, probably around $2200 to $2500, but worth it imho. In a sense, it is better than before with a bunch of new parts, such as radiator, hoses, coolant, AC condenser and more.
