Oh my!
All I should do is simply export the one in my desktop's VirtualBox, and import to the laptop's VirtualBox.
Thanks.

Who in 2024 has Windows as a primary OS? Why? What for?

In 2024 even nested virtualization (virtual machine in virtual machine on hypervisor) is not bad at all.
What OS do you use? I'm pretty sure Windows has the highest market share of OS's and I know a ton of people who use it. I personally use Windows since some apps I use are not available on Linux.

Linux. Me, my wife, all of our 3 kids. Linux is in thermostats, cars, everywhere.

I recently got a win11 laptop, and I have had a heck of a time trying to install the repack_iso in the traditonal manner, with hope of using edge's "IE mode".

But VIDA itself does not install, even after installing DotNET 3.5 and the SQL server.

Any hints?

The GUI says after running 02_VIDA.cmd:

The information shown below can be found in the log file, located in the C:\VIDA\System\Log\ directory.
Framework35 OK
Security OK
VIDA NOT OK

VIDA\System\Log says:
01:10:20 [INFO] End of installscript
01:10:33 [INFO] VIDA completed. Result = -1
01:10:33 [INFO] VIDA NOT OK

So, VIDA's not OK, but there's no specific error
1982 240DL: Drove it 32 years and 1.5 million miles (sold, even still had mint leather!)
2001 v70 2.4T: The most expensive $1500 car I ever bought ("Volvo Turbo" - what an oxymoron!) (sold)
2004 v70: Far less fatally-flawed v70 - It served well (sold)
2010 v50: Smaller, slightly sportier wagon. Its got a spoiler, so I upgraded with sway bars!
