Please help! JDM 850R CA Emissions Label

Hi fellow automotive scandophiles. So, I recently acquired a 1997 JDM RHD Volvo 850R and I'm struggling to get it smogged in California. The smog technician has declined to smog it because it does not have an emissions sticker under the hood. He said he needs to know the displacement, engine family, evaporate family, and exhaust emission control systems on the car. A vin search has told me that this car has B5234T5 engine and that I should have a catalytic converter, O2 sensors, and mechanical fuel injection. Would anyone be willing to send me a picture of their emissions control sticker for their 97 850R or know the information the smog tech is looking for? I would really appreciate the help. I love this car and really don't want to pay thousands to have it hacked up by the infamous CARB place in Santa Ana.

When I imported an 850 to the US for my niece from Canada, my brother had to get a letter from Volvo USA to say the car met the same specs as US cars for US and CA.

In this thread there are links to a dealer in Nanaimo BC Canada that claims their cars can be imported into the US. Perhaps you could try contacting them to see if they can help?
