1996 850 AWD: Trip computer for VDO cluster Turbo Vs non-turbo

Post by Randomnamegenerator »

Hello all,

I wish to add the trip computer & info switch to my 850 AWD. According to this picture I have a VDO cluster but without boost gauge.

Question, is there any difference between the connectors on a turbo and non turbo car with the VDO cluster

A trip computer has come up on my local ebay but the car is N/A. Does this matter at all or are there only 2 possible connectors for the trip computer, one for VDO and one for Yazaki?

Thanks in advance

Boost gauge was only fitted to 850 T5 & 850R(high pressure turbo).

Low pressure turbo cars didn't had boost gauge.

Trip computer for VDO cluster should be the same for all VDO clusters.

Yazaki & Vdo clusters for 850 are not interchangeable...so trip computer could not be interchangeable too.
