Remove rear headrests from 2004 V70

Post by yeovilleV70 »

I need to replace broken upper plastic covers from a 2004 V70 folding rear seats. How do I remove the headrests? Fold mechanisms are working on the two outboard headrests. Center headrests does raise to up position. Video search doesn't show the mounting system that I have on my car.

I want to restate the help I need is for the REAR headrests located on the BACK folding down seat found in the V70 models. Not the front seats. I have alreqady removed the front seat headrests on more than one occasion. Thanks
PS the newer the model Volvo the more difficult it is to work/repair the seats. Airbags and other mechanical options just make things more difficult and repair manuals don't go into any depth as how to repair them. Anyone have the manuals for the P2 P3 Volvo seats? The VIAD I have is from 2010 and no longer able to access i online.

The rear seat for the V70 is not the same as the other models.S60,S40 S80 XC90. XC70/V70 wagon specific. I have a 2004 V70 non-turbo.
