Vida CEM swapping

How did you read them? IIRC Renesas erases the flash when the read operation is attempted on a locked down flash.

Changed firmware to read itself.

Yes, but only in DiCE, not CEM.

Oh i missed that part of discussion yes.
I already thought Volvo started using else than default password on some CEMs.

It has no flash pin code, so it can be read in boot mode.

Clk, busy, p50, p60 no need to be connected in M32C UART mode (in M32C SPI must be connected).
Chips adm... and 93c86 must be desoldered.

Hi guys I was wondering if the "brick" cem is possible to Crack yet? I read you need to keep the k line active but I haven't seen it being cracked yet and I read a lot. Through the posts.

No. You need to remove it from the car and directly read the content on the bench and find the PIN in there. There is no known vulnerability in these that will make it doable to find the PIN in a reasonable time.
