I used to have that Smiths Tacho. I had it on my 123GT back in the late 70's and early 80's until it was written off while my brother was using it (not his fault!). I removed it before it went to a specialist Volvo breaker, then it got sold with all the parts for my project 221S wagon when we moved to Canada from the UK. Sad time in deed! Oh, and the Smiths rev counter never worked worth a damn!

We named our first 245 Volvo 'Beast'. It would never do smoky burnouts but it did smoke sometimes.
