Adding Bluetooth to P2 radio - Recommendations?

Post by scot850 »

I have been looking at adding Bluetooth to our son's 06 XC70 after a failed attempt with a cheap FM transmitter which shorted out not long after purchasing and blew 2 fuses under the dash. They are a pain to get to to change, and I don't want to repeat this.

So any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I was considering GROM, but after reading this post is makes my wonder if it is a good idea:

We would be using Android phones (no stinking Apple products in this household!!) :D

Thanks,

Neil.

you've probably already figured this out by now, but I have a monster audio FM transmitter one that worked very well in my 01 p2 that I'm not longer using after doing an aftermarket install if ya'll want it. No issues with blowing fuses or anything like that.
