Hi ZionXIX yes! Our ASA filament of choice can take up to 103C (217F) before softening. So as long as water isn't actively boiling inside your car, these parts will work just fine haha.

I've dabbled in 3d parts for my own cars but I haven't made the jump to ASA yet. I know its better for UV resistance and high temps. But I'm think bigger parts than emblems or lock pins.

ASA has great UV resistance unlike ABS. Yes we are working on larger body parts too, though those take a lot more time to develop. Hoping for many big releases this year.

It's great that you're offering replacements for such old cars. Consider creating new parts for common problems, like a stopper for the center console arm rest hinge to prevent it from over extending backward and snapping the weak stopper in the console plastic. I've been working around that failure for 20 years.

Things that come to mind would be any and all interior trim pieces, I designed a replacement for the inner door handle housing several years ago. I bet it would go better in ASA now. Door cards would interesting. The holy grail of interior parts will always be with the dash board. The piece of the dash board that doubles as the mounting frame abd the defrost vent tends to break causing the entire dash to slide down. A redesigned/reinforced mounting system would go a long way with overhauling the dashboard. This has been on my longterm list for quite some time. It's literally why I bought a 3d printer.

Designing the main dash piece is an awesome idea. I do have a 2D model of the top section of the 850 dash. The idea is to have a clean overlay to cover any cracks (though dashes should still be taken out and repaired). Still figuring out the best way to implement this.
