1998 V90 Electric (Power) Seat, Drivers Side - forwards/backwards function working on one side only

Folks, my Electric (Power Seat) - Drivers Side: its forwards/backwards function now only works on one side. The seat reclining function works fine. The seat pad front up/down function works but the seat pad back up/down function, now does not. The 3-position seat memory function also no longer works. Grateful for your advice on how to fix these issues. The priority is to get the forwards/backwards function working again as the seat pad is in its front-most position currently and its hard for me to drive in that position, as I’m 6 foot 4!

We were having a similar issue with the power driver seat on our S90. We were able to move the seat by providing an assist by pushing/pulling the base while engaging the motor at the same time. If it is able to move with a physical assist, then it might be the connection with the motor coming loose. I've found info on here about tightening that connection but haven't attempted as the seat can still move with a physical assist.

Thanks for that. Will try that method. When you say push/ pull at the base, do you mean doing that at the back of the seat or at the front of the seat?
