When pulling forward from a dead stop, there is a faint, single "pop" sound that I'm hearing/feeling. Doesn't happen every time, but it's definitely there. Wondering if it could be one of the various motor mounts. Thoughts/suggestions?

I have it too, I started to think it's either strut mount or worn out subframe bushings.

Interesting...it also does feel like there is just a little more slop in the front end, for instance when I'm turning into my driveway and going over the curb cut. Otherwise, it rides and feels great.

Or this? One of the more difficult to find noises. Installed these on our 03 S80 T6 with success.

Open the hood, fix eyes on strut mount, bounce car up and down.

Is the rubber on the strut mount broken?

Looked at both strut mounts...they are good. Actually had them replaced a couple years ago.

Sorry actually instead of just strut mounts I was going to say strut bearings. Mine are for sure bad(well the one, I've replaced the other one).

Couple of years ago = couple of years too many now. It's time probably. But also, there is one small rubber pad(also called spring seat) on which the strut spring lays(lies?), if it has disintegrated, which I am sure happens after years, the spring can come into direct metal to metal contact with the strut spring seat.
