PO 412 code

After replacing the starter I noticed the Check Engine light. Quickscan revealed code 412 (Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Malfunction). It may not be related but I made a mistake connecting only 3 cables to the starter on my first attempt (the starter did not turn). After correcting my error, the starter worked fine but the check engine light was on.
I have no idea how to tackle this problem and would appreciate any pointers. What would be the first thing to check?

Possibly try clearing the DTC and see if it comes back. The code may have tripped from some consequence of the unconnected wire and got stored. I hear nonsense codes can sometimes pop up under these unusual circumstances on these cars.

The first thing was to check all the connections again. And of course, I found one that wasn't connected. After plugging in and clearing codes everything is fine.
Operator error. I apologize for wasting the time of all 70 members reading this thread. The only lesson one could learn is to take pictures before the job you have never done before.
