I have to ask...

Do you have a failing Electronic Throttle Module? What steps to take if you do, plus the latest ETM news. Volvo 1999-2002 models only please.

Has there been any progress since the software recall? I realize failing units can be replaced for now, but that will be over in a year for 99s and in two years for everyone else. Is no one working on a better aftermarket part?
Plus, given the continued failure of the parts, shouldn't there be a class action of some sort?

Not heard a thing.... and if I were an owner of one of these effected cars I would be concerned too...but then again, 10 years, 200K miles- I'm sure Volvo is thinking they've done enough..
