Has anybody used this bluetooth adaptor with their stock radio?

Hi,

I am trying to hook up Bluetooth through my stock radio with something more robust than a Bluetooth-to-FM device. too many crackles.

I have a stock SC-816 radio in my 1999 S70 T5. This adaptor purports to hook up to the CD changer port:

Has anybody used these? 100 bucks seems steep, it almost makes more sense to drop a new radio in there. But I like the looks of the old radio, as well as the fact it has a cassette (!!) and CD player in it.

Our friend Ben from Edmonton dropped by yesterday. He showed me the neat double din head unit he installed in his 98 V70. It has bluetooth and various other inputs. Cost? $32 CDN fro Ali Express!

I will do. I forgot to ask him to send it to me as I may be interested too! May take a couple of days due to his work schedule. One thing I meant to ask him too if you then need the amplifier as not sure if it comes with one built in. I think I am down to about 8 of those and the cables (Ben dropped another one off in trade for some parts he needed!).

Also, I was sure I read about someone being able to connect a P2 steering wheel up with the button controls to a P80 and getting that to work with their radio. Now that would be a nice upgrade!

I've got the earlier version of the Yatour in my V70, it has the SC900 head unit with the dash center speaker and didnt feel like trying to make that work on an aftermarket headunit.
Been using it for almost 5 years now, no complaints on the aux/bluetooth. Never tried USB or SD. Just wish I could use the headunit controls to change songs over bluetooth.

Once or twice a year bluetooth will refuse to work, but nothing that cant be fixed by turning it off and on again !

I have a Yatour fitted to my 850, I can't connect my iPhone to it but my iPod connects. It works as it should and no problems

Yep, I purchased one recently and have been using it with my SC-900 with great success. It's easy to use, all the controls work, and it sounds great!
