Blue smoke from exhaust

B5254t. What does blue smoke from the exhaust mean? It only smokes when the engine is warm, when it runs for several dozen seconds at idle speed and after increasing the speed. It does not smoke when the engine is cold immediately after starting, it does not smoke when accelerating, it does not smoke when engine braking and then accelerating. The oil filler cap is gently sucked on when the engine is running. So PVC seems to work well.

The 2 main issues are hardened valve stem seals, or worn turbo seals.

Or wrong viscosity oil(read too thin)..but like Neil said...turbo or valve stem seals.

Since it doesn't smoke when accelerating that generally eliminates rings, and based purely on age, if the car hasn't had valve stem seals yet, they are likely age-hardened. A suggestion would be to change the oil - follow the recommended viscosity in the owners manual, the folks who designed the car do know best - and see if it has any effect on the behavior. Avoid all the Magic In A Bottle, that stuff is good for draining your wallet and not much else.
