S60 06 side mirror glass adhesive

The glass popped off the passenger side view mirror on my S60. The plastic backing is still there and installed in the mirror, just the outer, mirrored glass layer popped off.

Any recommendations for an adhesive to put it back on?

The adhesive will apply directly to the mirror coating behind the glass, I don't want to trash that, and maybe less important it should be compatible with the small amount of heat that comes from the heating element behind the plastic backing.

I used a 2 part marine epoxy ~2 years ago to reattach mine. I think it was loctite brand. You want to carefully peel/remove the old adhesive pad from the mirror glass and plastic frame that the glass adheres onto. Note the little heated mirror and "objects in mirror are closer than they appear' text will be whatever color the adhesive you use is.
I didn't use a regular glue or adhesive because that might take too long to cure sandwiched between non-porous glass and plastic. Also some of the chemicals (oils, acetone, etc) in most adhesives might likely damage the reflective mirror coating that's on the sameside that you're gluing.
Two years and so far it's fine. Heated function also works as good or better than it did with the foam backed adhesive pad that would have a little more insulating properties than the epoxy would.

This week the driver's side one fell off, same separation. Will be glueing with epoxy, unfortunately I don't know what glue I used last time. Wish I did because it worked, still holding ...

Just did this on the wife's 2014 XC60 passenger side. I used two part epoxy spread as thin as I could get away with.

I used "Shoe Goo".

But the key thing is to thoroughly clean the old glue off first.
Once Shoe Goo is on, gently clamp it. Or place weights on it during the curing process and let it sit for 24-48h.
