Coolant leak from near upper radiator hose
Re: Coolant leak from near upper radiator hose
It's leaking again. But upon further inspection, I think I found a crack on the front side of the plastic tank, it's weird though how most of the coolant ends up on the other side. I've uploaded pictures below.

Time for new radiator.
Or, if you want to save money and roll the dice, get a used radiator.

Ah dang it, I was hoping you'd say I can "plastic weld" that, or slap some epoxy/sealant on top. I wonder if I can get an OEM steel one (if one exists) to avoid this issue In the future.
On a side note, have you realised that the new OEM upper radiator hose has visually changed compared to the original? I liked the original better with the dark grey colour and the "VOLVO" text on it. The new one just says "made in Poland" and the part number. I'm tempted to put that one back on, but it is 30 years old...and preventative maintenance and such...so I guess I'll be keeping the new hose with the new radiator.
Also thanks for all your replies, appreciate the help.
